What We Do
Every morning while we're in Gold Beach, OR, we get up and take the dogs to the beach. We'll spend hours there. Walking, drinking coffee, taking pictures and talking about the dogs.

Luna Perfect Puppy Dog
Mom & Dot
Lobo the Magnificent
What a beautiful dog.
High tail.
Lewis, the 6 month old puppy, touches the ocean.
Mike and Lewis at beached Redwood stump.
The Beach. Empty. We love it.
Luna....running. Again.
Buddies since Luna's birth.
Driftwood pile with hand waves.
The model.
Sometimes we leave the beach. Really, we do. Shut up. One day, we stopped by the local Farmer's Market. Great fresh foods and fun artworks.
Luna and the Snapper.
Other days would include breakfasts at a GREAT place we found called "Grant's Pancake & Omelet House" right on the main drag of Highway 101 there in Gold Beach. The BEST crab Benedict and buck wheat waffles I've ever had!!!
Other days would find us just back at the cottages, doing much of nothing. Except when the bikes came out.
Mike starts a morning bike ride....to Brookings, Oregon. Silly man. He did it too.
We picked up Mike and his bike for our next destination...."The Trees of Mystery." Which, if you followed my posts last year, you know is one of and my and Charlotte's FAVORITE places in the world!!! So, more to come.......

To sit in the shade on a fine day and look upon the verdant green hills is the most perfect refreshment.
