50 Ways To Beat The Reaper

I've been suffering from a cold all week. YUCK. I'll be better soon. There are highlights to being sick in my house.

Being sick has forced me to bed for an occasional nap which Miss Luna just loves because I rarely nap. Or out on the patio for hot tea during our lovely afternoons. Vegas hit 85*+ in many parts of the valley yesterday. Global warming? Say it's not true.

Also, I finished my Rowan's "Sage." Now just the sew up! Still working on the sock. Stuck at the heel again! Poo.

There has been additional web crusing. This article with these two tips is worth its weight in gold. Who knew about Alka-Seltzer for a heart attack?
50 ways to beat the reaper

If you think you're having a heart attack, do these two things:

#12. Plop an Alka-Seltzer
It contains 325 milligrams of aspirin, the same as a regular aspirin, and begins fighting blood clots almost 3 minutes faster than a pill, according to a study in Thrombosis Research.

#13...and call a ride
Walk-in patients wait almost twice as long in the E.R. as those who arrive by ambulance, according to a University of New Mexico study.

Read the rest for more good health tips too.

Away to drink more hot stuff. Pics of 'Sage' soon.
