Director of FEMA, Michael Brown, had NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in disaster relief

This information has been reported else where also:

From Point vs. Point: "Director of FEMA, Michael Brown, had NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in disaster relief. You see, Director Brown was the former head of the International Arabian Horse Association, a job that he was fired from. So, if there happens to a be a disaster involving horses, saddles, or any other equestrian needs, it's safe to say that Brown's got you covered.

In a curious moment of logistics, Brown is actually Under Secy. of Homeland Security, which makes him director of FEMA, and...wait for it...responsible for directing the Nuclear Incident Response Team.

Crap; we're all screwed. This info is straight from FEMA.gov, kids."

Yes, I'm thinking we're all just screwed.

And on the knitting front: Just finished REPEAT #13. Will start on REPEAT #14 this evening, then to the edging. I said THEN TO THE EDGING.

heh...I love it. But remember, Brownie is doing a great job! So, which is it? The hurricane means squat to the government, so they pulled the director off the biggest natural disaster to hit the country OR is it there is something worse coming and he is desperately needed in Washington OR he is being publicly spanked and sent to his room in Washington. I'm gonna vote for #3.
