I've had to make a few doctor's runs with Mr. Ike; all is well, just PT appointments. So, KNITTING has been happening there!! Clapotis II is going along nicely!! Maybe in a box and shipped by month's end? No, say it's not true!!!

It is true that Mr. Ike is coming along great!! Not off his walker yet, but getting around just fine. He's even driving every once in awhile which is crazymaking for me but...a man's got to do what a man's got to do. And he's doing great!

So, I'm somewhat trying to plow thru a number of different projects. None of which are worth mentioning because they pertain to house stuff, yard stuff and paperwork stuff. Just really want to get a number of projects DONE before good sailing weather hits. I need more work for more money and have a few more conferences out of town before May. Trying to figure out a teaching schedule that fits all that in. Might end up going to work at the new Red Rock Casino. I'm going to hate doing that but it's good money. I guess we'll see what classes start to come in and how soon.

Lastly, I tried to call Australia the other day with my calling card. Ever tried to call out of the country with a calling card? I can drive to Washington state in less time with less trouble. Needless to say, I who can write computer code and work out decompression dive tables to keep your pretty ass from getting bent can't figure out how to dial up Australia. Go figure. It's a bazillion numbers on the calling card, a dialing accesses code, Australia's country code and a city code. How hard can that be? (Bang, bang, bang head on desk.) Will try again some other day. May the number Gods be with me then.
