Damn Pit Bulls Are So Mean!!

This was the baby raccoon that Jim had found on their ranch in May 2005. Helen and I named him "VC" for vocal cord. You would never believe the sound that came out of that dear little soul when he was awake and hungry!

Amazingly, he purred when he was happy.



He'd sleep under my chin right after a big purr fest. Luna thought he was too cute.

But obviously there was a reason his Mother kicked him out. Something internal was not right. But he was a blessing and a load of fun fur while I was able to care for him for a few days. He died a few days later. Rest in peace Little One.
