'The Polar Express' & Cheesecake

Charlotte, Karen and I ventured downtown Seattle to see the 'Polar Express' 3D on Sunday afternoon at the IMAX at the Pacific Science Center. Fab kid and adult museum and play place. I think I cried more at this viewing than I did during the first time I saw it a few weeks ago!! What a wonderful movie. Char and Karen really liked it too!!!

Don't THINK about touching my sleeping duck

We did contemplate seeing the 'Vikings' Imax movie also. If there had been half-naked Vikings in it, we probably would have. Instead, we just hung out at the movie poster for a few moments.

The Space Needle

I'd never seen the 'Space Needle' before. It's quite impressive up close. Huge. And the park and social areas that surround it are a wonderful civic use.

After the movie, we ventured out for a early dinner at the 'Cheesecake Factory.' WAY too much food that was WAY toooooo good.

A Perfect Smile

Michael, a Lemon Drop and a perfect smile. Then, out onto the streets to do some holiday shopping. And general looking. At everything.

The Macy's Star

Big buildings. So different than hotels and casinos. Seattle is very fun to visit.

Denny and I explored Seattle for the first time this summer and fell in love with the city. We ended up having lunch at the Cheesecake Factory (our first experience with the place) with a wonderful lady we met on the Gray Line tour bus who was traveling on her own. Huge amounts of food that was very good; I have a picture of their VERY large hamburger in my files. I see that you beat the winter storm in-good timing. Love the picture of Mt. Shasta at night.

Hey, beautiful new banner!

Luna looks as if she's having a good time, running full out.

Da Brain would be right beside her, stride for stride, in his own custom grown fur coat. He's a dog made for winter!

Have fun, and enjoy the season!
