Clapotis & Varnish -- Again Still

My 'bright-work' is almost done!! A few sections are still in need of another coat but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Companionway Almost Done

First Mate Luna found all the sanding and varnishing wore her out.

Napping

But only for a while. Here a 'row-mate,' Jill, takes her for a ride on a jet ski. That is one of Luna's favorite things to do. She is truly a speed demon!!

One of the reasons I didn't finish off the bright-work this weekend was this.

Coming Storm

Saturday was again with the winds from hell and these pictures were taken on Sunday. Lake air temps didn't get past 70* making it too cold to varnish. Again.

Rain & Hail 20 Minutes Later

And then, it would be blue.

And Coming Back

Puffy Clouds Return

There was other boat work to do so the cooler weather made that nice. And then, when too tired to do anything else, there was knitting. On the Clapotis II. I'm down to 83 stitches on the needles and decreasing at a steady rate. May, Charlotte will get her Christmas Clapotis II in May. Really. Stop laughing.
